About This Spot

Stepping into Los Gallos feels like entering a familiar corner of Mexico tucked quietly into Fallon’s landscape—a spot where the hum of daily life slows just enough to savor good food and friendly exchanges. The atmosphere is warm without fuss, where the easy chatter of neighbors blends with the occasional clink of glasses and soft Mexican melodies that drift through the room. It’s a place that invites both locals and travelers to settle in, linger over flavors, and enjoy unhurried moments.

The pace here is comfortably lively, shaped by attentive staff whose kindness makes a strong impression without ever feeling overbearing. There's a genuine sense of care woven into every interaction, as though the restaurant is not only serving meals but offering a small respite from the road or a long day. The space itself embraces a casual spirit — no need for formality, just good company and satisfying dishes crafted with heart.

What makes a visit to Los Gallos special isn’t merely the menu, but how the food fits into the scene. Plates arrive generously portioned, inviting shared moments of exploration—whether it’s the bright, zingy notes of a fresh cabbage salsa paired with crisp chips, the comforting warmth of hearty soups like pozole and chicken tortilla, or the lively punch of a well-mixed margarita in a handcrafted clay jar. The flavors are honest and comforting, with just enough spice and zest to keep things interesting, much like the neighborhood itself.

Many find themselves returning not only for the taste but also for the rhythm of the place: fast and efficient service that still feels personal, an environment where even strangers might exchange a nod or a smile, and a roster of dishes that invite subtle discovery rather than demand applause. From the softness of a freshly made tortilla cradling perfectly seasoned meats to the unexpected sparks of a shrimp cocktail or the savory richness of carne asada, Los Gallos feels like a genuine welcome—quietly unassuming, but welcoming in its own heartfelt way.

Visitors often note how consistent warmth and attentiveness make dining here feel less like a transaction and more like being thoughtfully looked after. It’s not the fanciest spot in town, but it’s the kind of place that sticks in your memory because of the little human moments paired with honest, satisfying food. Whether you’re winding down from a road trip or dropping in for a casual meal, Los Gallos offers a grounded experience that celebrates local flavor and genuinely warm hospitality.

Good tasting, reasonable prices. Would return when in town. Staff was attentive and friendly! I got the street tacos, which were just okay. Carne asada was tough and not seasoned. I'd try something else next time.

Driving from California to Florida we stayed the night in this town in the middle of nowhere. Didn’t expect much but this Mexican restaurant was a surprise! The regular margarita in a clay jar was one of the best I ever had. Food staff and atmosphere was great. Don’t miss this gem. Ten stars ⭐

Absolutely delicious. Got myself a burrito and my friend got some enchiladas and absolutely delicious divine. Proportion size was great and I can't really complain about the price. And the drinks were great! The best thing I have to say was the staff they were very courteous and attentive and they always came and checked up on us. Very friendly great experience.

Fresh and well portioned food for a great price. Our visit was well worth more than what we paid for; a margarita, cheese nachos, crispy beef tacos to go, and the Colorado burrito for 45 bucks feeding 3 people. My guest said that the Colorado burrito was fresh and flavorful and my nachos were too. They have super fast service with being constantly busy. The bathrooms here are also well managed and clean. We will be visiting here again.

What a great experience after being completely ignored at a neighboring restaurant. Our waiter was SUPER friendly and checked on us multiple times. I love that included a cabbage salad with chips and salsa. My husband ordered the skirt steak and it was very flavorful. My sopapillas weren't horrible but I wouldn't order them again. Five stars for fast and friendly service!

This is a family owned restaurant. It's very clean. Great service. The portions are very large. The soup bowl was massive! As was the large Margherita! And they didn't skimp on the alcohol. Plenty of parking. Decent prices.

This place was busy and loud on a Saturday night. We were seated quickly by the manager. They have a delicious pickled vegetable appetizer served alongside the chips and salsa. The grilled chicken taco salad was delicious...romaine lettuce, perfect bite-sized pieces of chicken, cheese, beans. Side of guacamole. Husband had a chile relleno that he enjoyed. It was huge.

The restaurant accommodated our large group and we were given great service! The enmolada (mole enchiladas) were surprisingly good! Not too sweet and not too spicy. The portions are big and the food itself has a good seasoning. I really enjoyed my dinner here
